This webinar, moderated NASHP Executive Director Alan Weil, explored state delivery reform efforts and how states might use the State Innovation Models initiative as a strategy to advance their efforts. On July 19, 2012, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced the State Innovation Models initiative that will provide $275 million to fund innovative payment and service delivery transformation initiatives. Jeanene Smith of Oregon and Bill Golden of Arkansas discussed reform initiatives underway in their states, how their states achieved their success, and how other states could leverage this opportunity to advance their health reform goals.
