Nancy Sullivan became an Assistant to the Cabinet Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Resources in 2010. Sullivan assists the Cabinet Secretary in identifying, coordinating, and overseeing programs and policies that will improve the health and well-being of the citizens of West Virginia.
Prior to joining the department, Sullivan held strategic planning and public relations positions in both the public and private sector. Her experience includes leadership positions in hospital administration, small business development, not-for-profit fundraising, and government relations.
Sullivan graduated from Marshall University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations and a Master of Arts and Journalism degree.
