Jill Rosenthal is a Senior Program Director at the National Academy for State Health Policy (NASHP), where she leads NASHP’s population health portfolio. She directs projects that focus on state approaches to health system performance issues, particularly related to integration of population health and delivery reform, health equity and social determinants of health, quality improvement, care coordination, and early childhood development issues for Medicaid eligible families. Ms. Rosenthal conducts research and policy analyses and provides technical assistance to states, most recently on identifying financial models to support population health improvement, building communities of practice, documenting best practices, and providing consultation as states develop models for nationwide spread. Ms. Rosenthal has a background in public health and health planning with a focus on health policy development and health promotion. She is a graduate of Colgate University, and holds an MPH from the University of North Carolina.
