Denise Chuckovich serves as Deputy Director at the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare, overseeing Behavioral Health, Medicaid, and Managed Care. Denise draws on 30 years of experience in health care service delivery, health policy development, planning, and program administration. She is presently focused on developing health policy to increase access to health care, improve quality of care, and reduce health care costs in Idaho. Denise completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Berkeley. She has a Masters degree from Idaho State University, Pocatello, and a Graduate Certificate in Public Health from the University of Washington, Seattle.
