Shireen Mitchell joined NASHP in 2010, and focuses on all of NASHP’s online communications and multiple web platforms programs. Prior to NASHP, she worked on local political social media campaigns, provided training and best practices in New Media. Shireen created the first woman of color web firm in the early 90’s, and is the founder of Digital Sisters, a nonprofit organization. Shireen speaks frequently at public forums across the country on issues pertaining to Diversity and Innovation.
