Elizabeth Cronen joined NASHP in 2010 as a Community Manager with the State Refor(u)m project. She will liaise between NASHP and the State Refor(u)m consumers, using social media tools and public relations techniques to ensure the project’s success. Before coming to NASHP, she served on the Urban Institute’s public affairs team, promoting the institute’s research to audiences of policymakers, practitioners, and the media. As a policy communicator, Elizabeth draws heavily on her journalism experience; she worked previously at The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer and Washington Week with Gwen Ifill. Elizabeth obtained her Bachelor of Science in Foreign Services from Georgetown University, and her Master of Public Administration from Harvard University.
