Alan Weil announces new board members
Alan Weil, NASHP Executive Director, announced the election of two new members to the Center for Health Policy Development (CHPD) Board of Directors. The CHPD is the corporate entity responsible for the legal and fiduciary management and oversight of NASHP. The entire board list is available here. The new members are:
  • S. Kimberly Belshé, MPP is the Senior Policy Advisor of the Public Policy Institute of California (PPIC). She serves as a resource to PPIC leadership and staff as well as the broader policy community on health and social services, fiscal, governance and related reforms Prior to PPIC, Kim was secretary of the California Health and Human Services Agency throughout Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger's tenure. Kim served as a member of NASHP's Executive Committee from 1995-2010.
  • Marcia Nielsen, PhD, MPH is the Executive Director of the Patient Centered Primary Care Collaborative, a large coalition of provider, purchaser, and consumer stakeholders who have joined together to develop and advance the patient centered medical home. She previously served as Associate Dean and Associate Professor of Health Policy and Management at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. Marcia served as a member of NASHP's Executive Committee from 2009-2011.

State Refor(u)m Webinar: Simplified but Not Simple: Tackling the ACA’s Eligibility and Enrollment Challenge
