Sarabeth Zemel, Program Manager

Sarabeth Zemel joined NASHP in 2008, and works on health reform, including implementation of health insurance exchanges, and issues relating to Medicaid coverage.  Prior to joining NASHP, Sarabeth worked at the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO), working on projects related to Medicare payment issues and workforce supply.  She has previously worked as a health policy analyst at Families USA, focusing on Medicaid issues.  Sarabeth has also worked as a state policy analyst for the National Mental Health Association.  Sarabeth holds a BA in anthropology from the University of Washington and a JD from Seattle University School of Law.
