Donna McDowell is the Director of the Wisconsin Bureau of Aging and Disability Resources. She is responsible for oversight of Older Americans Act programs, services for people who are blind or visually impaired, people who are deaf or hard-of hearing, and persons with physical disabilities seeking employment. She is leading the development and expansion of Wisconsin’s Aging and Disability Resource Centers and the Chronic Disease Self Management Program. She is a past president of the National Association of State Units on Aging. She has also been a consultant to the state of South Australia for a decade and has served on the ABA Commission on the Legal Problems of the Elderly and the board of the Wisconsin Peer Review Organization. Ms. McDowell holds a master's degree in administration from Bryn Mawr College Graduate School of Social Services.
