Stacy Mitchell

Stacy Mitchell is the Deputy Secretary for Quality Assurance in the Pennsylvania Department of Health and is responsible for Department’s regulatory activities including hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, nursing homes, D&A facilities, home health agencies, and managed care plans.   She joined the Department in 1999 as Director of the Bureau of Managed Care.   Mitchell has extensive senior management health plan experience in addition to senior level health care regulation. Mitchell received a BS in Business Administration from Penn State and an MPH from the University of Hawaii.  She is a current board member of the National Association of Managed Care Regulators.
